Spooky Cat on Fence

It's Halloween Week!  I can't wait to see all the little ones in costumes knocking at my door!  Happy Trick-Or-Treats to each and every one of you.

This is another pattern I created quite a long time ago.  It is 200 x 200 written for single crochet.  The pattern includes written row-by-row instructions and the graph.

Fairy Ring Face Scrubbie

About a week ago, I share the Fairy Rings Dishcloth pattern.  I loved the look of herringbone half double crochet so much in the round that I wanted to try it in another pattern.

One of the things that I strive for is reducing the waste created by my family. As one example, I use old worn-out dishcloths or washcloths in place of paper towels, so I can wash and reuse.

This year, for Christmas, I want to make some spa sets and will be including a set of these face scrubbies.  They are perfect for removing make-up, washing your face or applying toner.  A set of 6-8 will go in each basket.

These are quick to make since there are only three rounds!  You can get approximately 12 out of one skein of cotton yarn.

Supplies:
Cotton Yarn
Size H crochet hook

Stitches:
ch=chain
dc = double crochet
sl-st = slip stitch
hhdc = herringbone half double crochet

Fairy Ring Face Scrubbie
Ch 4, slip stitch to join.  Or use a magic circle.

Round 1: ch 2, 12 dc into the circle. sl-st to join(12 stitches)

R2: ch 2, 2 dc in each stitch, sl-st to join (24 stitches)

R3: ch 2, (2 hhdc in first, 1 hhdc in next) repeat around, sl-st to join(36 stitches)
