We are a little obsessed at the moment with 18" dolls at my house. I've been sewing and crocheting for my granddaughter's doll, Petunia. Right after she got the doll in October, I made matching ear warmers for them. I just made a second set as a surprise for Christmas.
These are quick to make and a beginner-friendly pattern. There are notes below the pattern to customize this pattern for any fun stitch.

Design notes:
- We have a My Life As doll. The doll ear warmer was 54 rows long.
- The child-sized ear warmer was 80 rows.
- Adjust the length of your ear warmer to fit your doll & child.
- Any fun textured stitch would work for the ear warmers.
- For the doll, start with 9-12 ch and for the child-size, start with 16-22 chains.
- Optional: gather the center of the ear warmer using thread. Add a decorative button or flower.
